About the role

The Nick Myers Agency is part of Farmers Insurance, a company founded in 1928 that provides comprehensive insurance solutions. We're seeking an Agent in Training to join our dynamic team in Portage, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships through networking, referrals, and community involvement
• Educate customers on various insurance products
• Understand and recommend personalized insurance solutions based on client needs
• Guide clients through the sales process and provide exceptional service
• Regularly follow up and review policies
• Achieve individual sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service
• Ongoing learning through industry training and product updates

Requirements

• Outgoing personality with a strong desire to connect with people
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
• Willingness to obtain or maintain necessary licenses
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged
