The Derek Stein Agency is growing, and we're looking for a Licensed Insurance Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team in Wolverine Lake, Michigan. You'll support both new and existing personal lines accounts, work closely with our sales team, and serve as a trusted resource throughout the client relationship.

Requirements

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty License required
• 2+ years of experience in personal lines account management, underwriting, or a related insurance client service role
• Experience working with carrier quoting platforms and agency management systems
• Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, including auto, homeowners, renters, and umbrella policies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and software applications

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines clients
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing inquiries
• Quote and rate insurance policies accurately and efficiently
• Partner with the sales team to support new business opportunities
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication and outstanding service
• Assess clients' evolving insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
• Contribute to client retention efforts by delivering a positive and professional customer experience
