About the role
The HVAC Technician position is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all systems meet safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Install new HVAC equipment and perform routine maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Document work performed and keep records of system performance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and/or repair
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC diagnostic tools and software
- Experience with refrigerants and safety protocols
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with some weekend and evening work as needed.
