INSULATION INSTALLER

About the role

We’re seeking an Installer to work at a premier manufacturing client in Dallas, TX. The position involves installing ceramic‑fiber insulation in welded steel oven cabinets and combustion chambers, ensuring precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic‑fiber blanket and board inside welded steel oven cabinets and combustion chambers.
• Measure, cut, and fit two‑layer 2,300°F‑rated ceramic‑fiber blankets to walls, ceilings, and doors.
• Pin, stud‑weld, or mechanically fasten insulation, ensuring tight seams without gaps or voids.
• Fit and seat tadpole gaskets at door openings and cam‑lock sealing surfaces.
• Cut openings for burner ports, thermocouples, stack penetrations, and access points.
• Verify layer thickness and full coverage while maintaining material integrity.
• Handle and store ceramic‑fiber materials to prevent damage.
• Manage fiber scrap and dust, keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Wear required PPE at all times and report defects, shortages, or drawing discrepancies.

Requirements

• Accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and use basic arithmetic, including fractions.
• Ability to lift 50 lb regularly and occasionally up to 100 lb.
• Comfort working inside oven cabinets and ability to stand, kneel, and reach for a full shift.
• Ability to work around airborne insulation particles and in a loud warehouse environment.
• Consistently wear a mask, gloves, and eye protection for extended periods.
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay

$17.50 per hour

Schedule

7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday
