Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air, & Electric is seeking an experienced HVAC Insulation Technician to join a team dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Insulation technicians educate customers on product options, remove and replace insulation, install add-on accessories, and provide quality work. This role also serves as a mentor and coach to apprentice and entry-level technicians. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise insulation crews on residential job sites
• Direct and supervise a crew of 2–3 installers, ensuring everyone follows the scope of work and finishes on schedule
• Identify and seal air leaks using foam or caulk
• Install insulation materials (fiberglass loose fill, batt insulation, etc.) according to specifications
• Operate and drive company truck with large trailer safely and efficiently
• Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials
• Ensure all work meets company standards and local building codes
• Train and mentor team members
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Complete daily paperwork, inventory management, and reports on team performance
• Assist with other duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of insulation experience
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Experience driving a truck with a large trailer (required)
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Physical stamina: ability to work in confined spaces for long periods
• Strong knowledge of insulation materials and air-sealing techniques
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
