About the role
Join an exciting opportunity to support the commissioning, startup, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities at a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing expansion in Holly Springs, NC. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in calibration, instrumentation, metrology, I&E, maintenance, or related technical fields, seeking hands-on experience in a GMP pharmaceutical environment. This is a fully onsite role within a construction setting at a greenfield site, characterized by a significant construction presence. Candidates must be aware of the environment's safety and awareness requirements. After six months, consultants become eligible for a company car and gas card, along with merit and performance bonuses. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holly Springs, NC. Responsibilities
- Perform process calibrations on temperature, pressure, flow, conductivity, and pH instrumentation.
- Support equipment startup, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
- Conduct loop checks, loop calibrations, and troubleshoot instrumentation and manufacturing equipment.
- Work with 4-20mA transmitters, process instrumentation, and utility systems.
- Complete calibration records, maintenance documentation, and ensure GMP-compliant paperwork.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, technical drawings, and instrumentation documentation.
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, metrology, I&E, maintenance, military technical, or a related field.
