Instrumentation Startup Engineer

OTS supports clients across the complete project life cycle with over 50 years of industry experience, strong technical knowledge, and integrated resources. We provide experienced technical professionals to complement client project teams, fostering knowledge sharing and growth as we expand in the US.
About the role
We are seeking System Owners to support and represent owner stakeholders, specifically leading design support, equipment installation, startup, troubleshooting, and operational readiness for Drug Substance manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities
- Support startup and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
- Participate in field troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Perform system walkdowns and support punch list closure.
- Assist with loop checks and functional testing.
- Coordinate with Automation, Electrical, CQV, vendors, and Operations.
- Support operational readiness and system turnover activities.
- Assist with startup documentation and commissioning records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
- Experience supporting startup or commissioning activities within regulated manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time onsite.
