Instrumentation & Electronic (I&E) Technician (Pampa, TX)
About the role
At Midwest Compressor Systems, we're looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and keeping critical equipment running. This role involves varied tasks—one day you may be troubleshooting a control panel, the next diagnosing a VFD issue on an electric compressor package, tracking down a shutdown problem, replacing instrumentation, or helping commission a new compressor package.

Valuable Experience

- Natural Gas Compression
Oil & gas or natural gas compression experience is strongly preferred, but we're also interested in experienced I&E technicians coming from industrial, manufacturing, automation, or similar environments.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Previous electrical/instrumentation/controls experience
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
- Must meet Midwest's company vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements
