Instrumentation and Controls Technician Helper

About the Role

Instrumentation and Controls Technician supporting pneumatic systems in the upstream and midstream oil & gas industry. This position focuses on day-to-day maintenance, preventive maintenance, and construction of pneumatic systems to minimize or resolve downtime. Applicants must be local to the East Texas area.

Responsibilities

• Support I&C Technicians and learn all processes and procedures to become an I&C Technician.
• Meet all safety training requirements needed to comply with customer safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles provided by Pneumatech in good operational condition.
• Ensure workplace safety by following safety protocols, wearing appropriate safety equipment, and identifying potential hazards.
• Perform pneumatic diagnostic and maintenance repairs.
• Install, disassemble, inspect, repair, and replace defective parts on a variety of pneumatic equipment and facilities.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of industrial experience.
• Pneumatic diagnostic and maintenance repair knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of pneumatic systems, tools, and equipment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work well with others and effectively communicate in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must speak, read, and write English fluently.

• 2-year technical college education.
