Instrumental Music Teacher

Description

The position includes instruction in beginning and intermediate instrumental music, including woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings, as well as directing orchestra ensembles and preparing students for performances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience teaching middle and/or high school instrumental music preferred
• Experience directing instrumental ensembles or orchestra programs preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse musical backgrounds and skill levels
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment
