Instrument Technician Certified

About the role

We are seeking a dependable, motivated professional to join our instrument room team. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the flexibility needed to support a fast-paced clinical environment. Must be CRCST certified. For this weekend position we are looking for at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Selecting, assembling, and processing instruments and equipment for use.
• Cleaning, decontaminating, maintaining and preserving, and sterile processing of all instruments, equipment, and non-sterile supplies.
• The care and preservation of all instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (C.R.C.S.T.).
• Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• The ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task.
• The ability to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated.
• A high degree of responsibility and responsiveness.
• Knowledge of surgeon preferences, procedures, instrumentation, equipment and decontamination/sterilization.
