About the role
The Instrument Software Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software used in critical applications. This role requires expertise in software testing, automation, and continuous integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for instrument software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, product managers, and hardware engineers
- Perform manual testing on instrument software to identify bugs and performance issues
- Document test cases and results for future reference
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that new features meet quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or PyTest
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of instrument software and its integration with hardware systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in software testing (e.g., Python, Java)

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
