About the role

Oversee and direct all field construction activities for assigned craft in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. This role requires a working knowledge of assigned work, the ability to resolve complex situations, and proficiency in directing general foremen and foremen to meet project objectives.

• Plan and direct work activities within assigned construction crafts, coordinating with other crafts as necessary.
• Approve and coordinate craft personnel, material, and equipment to meet schedules.
• Support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities.
• Analyze situations, identify problems, evaluate options, and recommend or implement solutions.
• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Direct subordinate Craft Superintendents, General Foremen, and Foremen within assigned craft.
• Serve as the lead person to coordinate all activities within an active construction work area.
• Coordinate indirect activities, both internal and external, to support productive construction execution.
• Assure all work is within approved scope boundaries and fully compliant with pertinent requirements.
• Represent the company as the senior in-situ representative for the assigned craft.

Requirements

• Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope; at least twelve (12) years of directly related experience (some locations may require additional or different qualifications).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic computer skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
• Functional proficiency in project controls, human relations, industrial relations, and contract management.
• Demonstrated strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Salary range: $92,000 – $171,000 per year. The market rate typically aligns with the mid-point of this range, with final salary determined by candidate qualifications, experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions.

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Background checks, including education, professional registration, employment, references, and Global Watchlist screening, are conducted as part of the conditional offer process.
