About the role
The School of Music at Ball State University invites applications for ongoing part-time semester instructor appointments to teach coursework in an on-campus environment. Our faculty are expected to be innovative, adaptive, engaging teachers across modalities; producers of impactful creative and/or scholarly work; leaders in meaningful service activities to multiple communities. Responsibilities
- Teaching coursework in music education, music history, music theory/composition, or music technology.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Music.
Requirements
- Completed master’s degree and a documented history of professional activity in the area of assignment.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality students on the collegiate level, exceptional creative/scholarly background.
