Instructor - WVU School of Nursing Family and Community Health in Morgantown Campus

Responsibilities

• Teaching in Complex Community Systems Nursing clinicals in the BSN program.
• Teaching in Alterations in Mental Health clinicals in the BSN program.
• Teaching would also include undergraduate health assessment and communication as well as foundations clinicals.
• In addition to clinical teaching, other formats of teaching, including traditional classroom teaching, skills lab, small group, and simulation teaching may be included.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN); or have a bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing and be enrolled in a graduate degree program with a major in nursing within one (1) year of employment as a faculty member; or have a bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing and at least ten (10) years of professional nursing practice experience.
• Evidence of experience in complex community systems nursing practice sufficient to demonstrate professional competence.
• Required to have unencumbered WV RN License by position start date.
