About the role

Built by Me is a STEM enrichment company offering interactive, collaborative, hands-on, project-based classes and workshops for children in grades 1–8. Our mission is to help children grow into creators by teaching them to use technology to explore, create, and learn new skills while having fun.

We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic STEM instructors with a passion for working with kids. This part-time opportunity is ideal for gaining practical experience in an innovative, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive and safe learning environment for small groups of children (no more than 10 per class).
• Facilitate hands-on, project-based STEM activities focused on robotics, coding, math, design, communications, video, music, and art.
• Engage students in collaborative learning while encouraging their authentic voice and creativity.

Requirements

• Experience working with children.
• Interest in STEM fields such as robotics, coding, math, design, communications, video, music, or art.
• High emotional intelligence, creativity, and a strong work ethic.
• Energetic, dependable, friendly, and flexible personality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of technology.

Availability on weekdays (4–7 pm) and Saturdays (9 am–12 pm) is required. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus (mileage will be reimbursed).
