About the role

As a Robotics and Automation Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in electromechanical systems and components will guide them toward a promising career in various industries. We emphasize hands-on learning, so you'll engage in interactive teaching to inspire the next generation to conquer the challenges of modern robotics and automation technology.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and educate by creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can flourish, fostering their passion for robotics and automation.
  • Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations to ensure students gain real-world experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various systems.
  • Collaborate with the education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones that align with industry trends and advancements.
  • Guide and mentor students on individual projects, encouraging critical thinking and innovative solutions.
  • Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of practical work experience in the field.
  • Technical skills in some combination of: AC/DC electricity & digital electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial networking, 3D printing, and conveyors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students and staff.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace.
