Instructor, Pre-Licensure Nursing Programs (Tucson) (On-Call/Per Diem) (Multiple)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Teach and guide students in clinical and practical courses related to assigned programs.
• Provide instruction for students during skills labs, simulations, and/or clinicals, which may include assigned day shifts, night shift, or weekend experiences.

Requirements

• Must satisfy clinical site compliance requirements (complete drug screening, BLS, vaccination requirements, and/or additional background check).
• Provide evidence/receipt of an active Arizona RN License prior to first day of employment with College of Nursing.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from AZDPS.

Qualifications

• Provide evidence/receipt of an active Arizona RN License prior to first day of employment with College of Nursing.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from AZDPS.
• Applicants With a Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) AND at least three years of clinical experience as an RN providing direct patient care.
• Enrollment in or completion of nursing graduate-level coursework OR possession of relevant national certification.

Skills

Experience teaching in higher education.

National certification in the area of clinical practice.

Dayshift: $40 - $50 per hour
Nightshift: $50 - $60 per hour
