Job Duties
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
Prepare for and hold classes (face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online)
Maintain currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment
Evaluate students’ work
Assess student outcomes
Provide regular and substantive feedback on student work
Maintain appropriate records
Hold office hours
May involve advising students and/or providing other service to the department.
Other Duties
May be assigned by the chair or dean.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate degree, or, in rare circumstances, post-baccalaureate certification or licensure, or a baccalaureate plus experience, can be established as appropriate qualifications for the teaching position.
- Depending on the program, specific certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required.
