Instructor - Philosophy & Religion

Position Summary

Austin Peay State University seeks to hire a temporary Instructor of Philosophy and Religion. This is a three-year (renewable) non-tenure position that will begin August 1, 2024.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy and Religion
• Develop and maintain course materials
• Maintain current knowledge of subject matter
• Participate in departmental activities and university committees

Requirements

• PhD in Philosophy or Religion
• Experience teaching at the college level
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
