Job Summary
Classroom instructors needed to teach the Secondary Reading course
Job Duties
Applicants interested in teaching EDUC 250, Teaching Literacy in the Secondary Classroom, will provide instruction and mentor ARC candidates who are preparing for secondary education or K-12 teaching positions. Instructors will be expected to participate in the departmental meeting each semester.
Required Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in Education or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Graduate degree in Reading or English, with experience in teaching reading across the secondary curriculum.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee may occasionally lift up to 10 lbs., seldom 25 lbs.
