Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret nuclear medicine stress tests, EKGs
- Evaluate and treat patients with therapeutic radio-pharmaceuticals and general nuclear medicine studies
- Participate in shared after-hour and weekend coverage
- Case review series
- Didactic lectures with residents and nuclear medicine imaging and therapy fellows
- Develop research credentials
Qualifications
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Board eligible or have specialty certification in nuclear medicine (current American Board of Nuclear Medicine certification or a CAQ in nuclear radiology from the American Board of Radiology)
- Completed a nuclear medicine or nuclear radiology ACGME-approved training program
- Extensive PET/CT experience
Pay
Initial appointment is for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).
Schedule
Shared after-hour and weekend coverage, case review series, and didactic lectures with residents and nuclear medicine imaging and therapy fellows.
