About the Role
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year, with continuation and renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).
Qualifications
Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research.
Responsibilities
- Clinical experiences in both inpatient and outpatient settings, specific to the division and expertise of the individual candidate. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Cognitive Neurology
- Epilepsy
- General Neurology
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Neurointensivist
- Neurogenetics
- Neuromuscular Disease
- Neuro-ophthalmology
- Neuropsychology
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Movement Disorders
- Sleep Disorders
- Stroke or Critical Care related topics
- Development of a career in an academic setting within the assigned division of the Department of Neurology.
- Opportunity to develop an individual training experience in research skills and teaching.
