About the role

The successful candidate for this position will teach air traffic operations (ATO) courses within the Commercial Aviation program. This position will start in August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Fully participate in the activities of the CAV Program, including teaching, recruitment, student advising, and service on committees.
• Teach Air Traffic Operations (Air Traffic Control) courses.
• Play an active role in setting up the Air Traffic Operations track in the CAV program and recruiting students into the program.
• Assist in getting the ATO track certified for special designations from the FAA.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a field related to aviation.
• FAA certificates to teach air traffic control courses.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Willingness to support the CAV program through student recruitment, advising, and administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the college or university level.
• A background in aviation or aviation instruction.
