About the role

The Instructor-Tenure Track, Nursing position is a Full-time Faculty position for the Weekend Division. This is a Weekend/Evening position and will assist in the coordination of weekend teaching activities. The role will lend support and act as a mentor to Adjunct Faculty. The position also participates in College and Nursing Program Committees & Meetings that take place 2-3 times monthly on Mondays, and other regular standing meetings throughout the academic school year.

Responsibilities

• Successfully perform the professional duties of both didactic and clinical instruction.
• Assist in the coordination of weekend teaching activities.
• Lend support and act as mentor to Adjunct Faculty.
• Participate in College and Nursing Program Committees & Meetings that take place 2-3 times monthly on Mondays, and other regular standing meetings throughout the academic school year.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• Two-years college-level teaching experience, preferably at the community college level.
• Experience teaching in the specific discipline.
