Instructor/Lecturer-Accounting

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate classes in accounting.
• Participate in and support accreditation processes.
• Develop and manage curriculum in the Accounting and MBA programs.
• Perform practice-oriented or scholarly research.
• Pursue professional activities such as certifications and industry engagement.
• Perform service within the university and the greater community.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in accountancy or closely related field anticipated by the start date.
• Must meet the AACSB classification of Practice Academic, Scholarly Practitioner, or Instructional Practitioner.
• Preference will be given to candidates who hold a master’s from an AACSB accredited institution.
• Knowledge of AI in Accounting discipline.
• Real-world expertise in relevant areas of business.
• At least 2 years teaching in Higher Education at the Instructor level or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in accountancy or closely related field.
• Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications such as the CPA may be considered.
