Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate classes in accounting.
- Participate in and support accreditation processes.
- Develop and manage curriculum in the Accounting and MBA programs.
- Perform practice-oriented or scholarly research.
- Pursue professional activities such as certifications and industry engagement.
- Perform service within the university and the greater community.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in accountancy or closely related field anticipated by the start date.
- Must meet the AACSB classification of Practice Academic, Scholarly Practitioner, or Instructional Practitioner.
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold a master’s from an AACSB accredited institution.
- Knowledge of AI in Accounting discipline.
- Real-world expertise in relevant areas of business.
- At least 2 years teaching in Higher Education at the Instructor level or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in accountancy or closely related field.
- Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications such as the CPA may be considered.
