Instructor – Electrical Service Technology (Fall 2026 – Tenure Track)

About the role

The Instructor will provide instruction for a wide range of courses in the EST and Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) AOS programs. The position includes teaching in both the classroom and laboratory settings, covering subjects such as mechanical systems in advanced manufacturing, motors and controls, and industrial mechatronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Teach contracted classes in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
• Teach in traditional classroom settings and online.
• Instruct both daytime and evening classes on the Utica and Rome campuses.
• Participate in program assessment, curriculum development, student advisement, and facilitating student internship experiences.
• Serve as a member of various School and College Committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology or related field.
• Master’s degree in any field.
• Experience with industrial electronics, control systems, mechatronics, and/or related systems.

• Ability to teach EST and EET courses in both the classroom and laboratory settings.

Pay

$55,364 (as of 9/1/2026)

Schedule

Ten-month, full-time position.
