Instructor, Driver's Education

Responsibilities

• Monitor and direct students in the driver’s education program, adhering to government and management directives.
• Explain handling of automobiles in emergencies, driving techniques, and mechanical operation of automobiles.
• Prepare students for written examinations through lectures, worksheets, and discussions.
• Evaluate students' performance and determine readiness for written and driving tests.
• Maintain student accountability by documenting class attendance reports.

Requirements

• Valid teaching license or accredited by a professional trade (ADTSEA) organization.
• One (1) year of teaching experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach effectively.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics.

Pay

$48,360 annually.

Schedule

Full Time, 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday.
