About the role
This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree program in culinary arts. Involves teaching college level courses in Hospitality Services Management and Culinary Arts. This position has a pastry emphasis but is also responsible for teaching general cooking classes (Skills 1 & 11).
Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree program in culinary arts.
- Teach college level courses in Hospitality Services Management and Culinary Arts.
- Teach general cooking classes (Skills 1 & 11).
- Have a pastry emphasis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
- Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
- Five years of evidenced industry experience.
- Taught experience in Higher Education preferred.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
Experience
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge
- Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives.
- Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary.
- Ability to maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility and judgment.

Pay
$40,000 - $45,000 Commensurate with education and experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
