Chief Resident position within the Pediatrics Administration department at Albany Med Health System.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Pediatrics Department.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in Pediatrics.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of New York.
• Experience in hospital administration or similar field.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies.
• Experience with electronic health records systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
