About the role

The Vermont EMS Academy (VEMSA), a division of Rescue Inc., is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Instructors to join their growing team. This role supports the delivery of AHA courses (ACLS, PALS, BLS) and NAEMT programs, helping to strengthen Vermont's prehospital workforce.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver ACLS, PALS, BLS and NAEMT courses in alignment with VEMSA standards
• Aid in updating, refining, and maintaining course curriculum to meet state and national guidelines
• Support an engaging, professional, and positive learning environment for students

Requirements

• Licensed NREMT Provider
• Current AHA Instructor (ACLS, PALS or BLS) or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire
• Any NAEMT provider certification within 18 months, with the ability to obtain instructor status within 6 months
• Prior teaching or training experience preferred
• Must be able to meet all functional job requirements

Schedule & Commitment

Part-time position with a flexible schedule based on course needs, including some evenings and weekends.

Pay Range

$30 - $35 per hour
