Instructor - Anesthesiology and Critical Care
Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities include the instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), as well as participation in lectures, small groups, workshops, and/or simulation sessions.
Clinical responsibilities include the provision of clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC. Opportunities are available with a focus in neuroanesthesia, obstetrical, cardiovascular, and/or critical care, including tele-critical care.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system along with ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license are required.
Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

The schedule for this position is flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the department and the individual's qualifications.
