About the role

MTC operates the New Orleans Job Corps Center in New Orleans, LA, providing quality services to local youth. We seek dedicated professionals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction according to approved curricula.
• Offer training and basic guidance to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Administer and correct rests and maintain progress and attendance reports.
• Aid in developing community linkages and volunteer connections for the department.
• Ensure accountability during each period and promptly report student absences.
• Participate in student assessment panels and document evaluations using CIS and other systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with youth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
