Role Overview
The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) supports responsibilities at Fort Bragg, NC, as the JCS proponent for the Joint Tactical Operations (JTO) Interface Training Program, with the objective of ensuring that operational forces can exploit the full capability of JTO Interface Systems. Support covers the full range of functions required to plan, develop, coordinate and manage the JTO training program to include courseware development and world-wide formal academic training and joint exercise support to support joint, allied and coalition air and ground forces in the employment of JTO Interface capabilities. Annually conduct approximately 30 Joint/U.S. Training Courses (CONUS and OCONUS) producing approximately 2000 graduates, and 30 Allied Training Courses (OCONUS) producing approximately 500 graduates for 10 allied nations.

Specific Skillset
- Develop curriculum, conduct instruction, and maintain JID courses
- Design and develop IMI Level 2 and 3 using Articulate Storyline, compliant with SCORM and 508 requirements
- Integrate and operate courses within a Moodle or LMS environment
- Represent JID at joint and combined interoperability working groups
- Provide course planning and administration, which includes development and maintenance of schedules, scheduling hands-on field training, student briefs, handouts and administrative documents, and student notification processes
- Develop, instruct, revise, and maintain JID course materials
- Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements, especially in an electronic classroom
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
- 5 years relevant experience
- Experience with all aspects of the ADDIE process
- Experience with Moodle and LMS Operations
