Job Summary

The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating learning solutions that support Moneta’s career paths and firmwide learning strategy. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to produce clear, learner-centered content across in-person, virtual, and self-paced formats.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design and develop learning solutions—including course content, job aids, facilitator guides, and scripts—aligned with firmwide initiatives and learner needs across in-person, virtual, and self-paced formats.
  • Design and facilitate instructor-led training sessions for associates at all levels, adapting delivery approach to meet the needs of diverse audiences, including new hires, tenured associates, and leadership populations.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex concepts into clear, learner-centered content.
  • Curate and integrate content from third-party providers and internal platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Articulate) to support program delivery.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and manage materials for training programs, including research and vendor coordination as required.
  • Execute evaluation strategies to assess program effectiveness and verify that learning objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of instructional design methodologies and tools to support continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an instructional design or technical writing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop instructional content in multiple formats, including job aids, facilitator guides, e-learning modules, and scripts.
  • Experience facilitating instructor-led training in both in-person and virtual environments for groups of varying sizes and levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
