About the role

The Instructional Designer will develop and deliver high-quality instructional materials and training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts, managers, and learners to design engaging and effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, videos, and interactive simulations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand course content and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate instructional strategies and technologies to meet learning objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an online learning management system (LMS).
  • Assess learner performance and provide feedback to improve training effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in instructional design and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Factors, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or related field.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and authoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in instructional design.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to analyze data and make evidence-based recommendations.
