Instructional Design Lead - Associate Director

About the role

This role reports to the global leader of learning and development, leading a team of three instructional designers to create end-to-end learning solutions (eLearning, live/virtual instructor-led training, job aids, knowledge management, and AI agents) with up to 10% travel. No security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead three team members in end-to-end creation of engaging learning solutions for compliance, ways of working, and leadership training.
• Manage time to ensure team success while also taking on some development work personally.
• Develop solutions including eLearning, live and virtual instructor-led training, job aids, knowledge management, and AI agents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree; four (4) years of additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• 10 or more years of professional experience in related areas.

Skills

• Expert development skills in Articulate Rise 360 with AI, Synthesia, and Camtasia.
• Deep expertise in ADDIE instructional design methodology.
• Ability to communicate expertise into feedback that grows team skill.
• Experience efficiently utilizing instructional design and Copilot AI tools to speed administrative tasks, boost productivity, and create engaging work products.
• Executive presence and communication skills to understand client needs, translate into training program design, and manage feedback from subject matter experts with competing priorities.
• Deep project management experience to create and manage project timelines, communicate risk, and react to urgent priorities with agility.
• Exceptional organizational skills for project file management
