Instructional Associate, Anatomy (Part-Time)(Multiple Hires)(Phoenix)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Watch and be knowledgeable about all lectures, lab materials
• Teach in all assigned labs in the course
• Provide open lab review sessions prior to each exam
• Complete competency evaluations for students
• Help to set up, proctor, and break down practical exams
• Participate in weekly instructor meetings to communicate with block and lab leaders

• Communicate effectively with different groups/individuals
• Handle confidential and sensitive information
• Knowledge of industry best practices and job functions
• Mastery of human gross anatomy and ability to communicate relevant information
• Skills in public speaking and facilitating small group learning activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required
• Successful completion of graduate level human anatomy course, including full body human dissection
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant in a dissection-based gross anatomy course for a graduate, medical, and/or allied health students
