A preschool instructional assistant assists a teacher in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in managing classroom activities and routines.
• Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Maintain confidentiality of student, school, teacher, and parent information.
• Participate in training sessions as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year experience working in a school or with children with special needs
• Experience supervising children preferred
• Demonstrated ability to maintain privileged information confidential
• Willingness to participate in training sessions as directed
• Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
• One year experience working in an early childhood classroom

Qualifications
