Instructional Assistant, Monfort Elementary School (2026-2027 School Year)
About the role
The position provides an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and/or skills contributing to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. It involves facilitating learning and guiding students towards their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Support academic programming and progress of individual students and/or small groups with identified significant needs.
- Provide student-specific personal care and support.
- Assist with daily classroom activities.
- Assist in data collection.
- Sanitize equipment and materials.
- Provide support to staff.
Requirements
- AAS degree or 48 semester hours or passing scores on WorkKeys exams (Applied Math, Workplace Documents, and Business Writing assessments).
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with children with special needs.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to move quickly from one position to another in response to student needs.
- Upper body strength with the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to perform the function of the position.
- Ability to provide student-specific personal care support to students.
- Bilingual skills preferred, but not required.
Skills
- Paraprofessional experience preferred.

Pay
$19.26 per hour plus benefits/Range 17. Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 rehires, up to $30.86 per hour plus benefits.
