About the role

Multiple positions are available for a 25‑hour‑per‑week 504 Aide to assist students with 504 needs, and a 25‑hour‑per‑week Paraprofessional who provides support to special education teachers for small‑group and push‑in services.

Responsibilities

• Assist students that have 504 needs.
• Provide support for special education teachers in small groups and push‑in services.

Requirements

• Complete the Basic Training (5 hours) provided by the JSD Special Education Department.
• Training must be finished within one week of hire as a condition of employment.
• Additional training through the Special Education Department is available, enabling advancement to lane 4 upon completion.

Pay

Effective July 1, 2026: Lane 3, Step 1 – $19.94 per hour.

Schedule

25 hours per week.
