About the role
The Resource Room program is a 9-month, 5-hour per week position available at STATON, ETHEL W. ES in LAS VEGAS.
Responsibilities
- Support students with learning disabilities
- Provide resources and materials to enhance learning
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to improve student outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Valid Nevada teaching credential or ability to obtain one within six months
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing score on a background check
Skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
