INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT - LEAST RESTRICTIVE ENVIRONMENT (LRE) - GREENSPUN, B. H. JHS.

9-month position, 5 hours per day. Program: Resource Room.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
• Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment and must include in-person, hands-on training (online courses not accepted). A copy of the front and back of the certificate must be uploaded with the application.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Language Proficiency Test, as measured by a District-approved third-party administrator.

Documents Required at Time of Application

• High school transcript or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
• Current CPR/AED certificate (front and back).
• Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
• Out-of-district applicants: three most recent years of work experience, including dates of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work, disclosed under the “Experience and Credentials” section of the application.
