Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Spanish speaking or Punjabi required
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• One of the following:
  • Two years of college (48 units), or
  • An A.A. degree (or higher), or
  • Passage of CBEST exam, or
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction (Paraprofessional Test)

• Current resume
• Two (2) letters of recommendation dated within 18 months of application date
• Copy of high school diploma, GED, or college transcripts (unofficial copies acceptable)
• Copy of licenses or certificates, if applicable
