Instructional Assistant at McAuliffe Elementary

Position Summary

Aids teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom to foster a positive learning environment. May assist in various areas including classrooms, lunchrooms, libraries, before or after school programs, or offices. At the elementary level, may also include crossing guard and playground duties.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold an Associate Degree (AA) or higher OR complete 72 college quarter credit hours OR pass an Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment with a score of 455 or higher OR pass the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher.
• Official documentation required upon hire.
• Criminal background check must be passed.
