About the Role
Works within the Eastlake Learning Community at Eastlake High School on a 183-day working calendar with hours of 7.5 per day, 8:00am-4:00pm. Eligible for membership in the Service International Employees Union No. 925.
Responsibilities
- Completes instructional tasks under the supervision of teaching staff
- Maintains an orderly classroom environment
- Provides support in various settings such as classrooms, lunchrooms, libraries, before or after school programs, or offices
- May work individually with students or assist entire classes
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold an Associate degree (AA) or higher, or complete two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours
- Must pass an Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment with a score of 455 or higher, or the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher
- Must pass a criminal background check
