Instructional Aide

This position begins August 24, 2026, and falls under the support staff contract.

About the Role

The instructional aide will assist classroom teachers, work with small groups of students, and support the classroom team. Additional duties may include supervising bus students during arrival and dismissal, providing classroom coverage, and other tasks assigned by building administration. The role requires the ability to assist and support students in reading, ELA, and math at a 7th-grade level.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional support
• Work with small groups of students
• Support the classroom team
• Supervise bus students during arrival and dismissal
• Provide classroom coverage as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by building administration

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Demonstrated or prior experience working with children
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to assist students in reading, ELA, and math at a 7th-grade level
• PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check, and FBI Background Check (required if hired)

Pay

Minimum starting rate of $15.14 - $16.91 per hour. Credit may be given for relevant experience.
