Institutional Custody Client Service Team Lead
About the role
The Institutional Custody team provides custody services to large global and domestic institutional clients. UMB entered the Institutional Custody space after noticing a need for our services from existing and potential clients. This allows us to provide full-service offerings to our customers who are often clients of Trust, Fund Services, and other groups as well. Our team is growing and looking for our next teammate!
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist Client Service Administrators who oversee all activity pertinent to client accounts in order to provide The Unparalleled Customer Experience to our clients, working with internal operations and external vendors to meet client expectations.
- Monitor management controls reducing risk to the organization and approve transaction activity, cash, and trade movement.
- Facilitate problem resolution, tracking issues through to completion.
- Provide input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may also validate executed test results.
- Prepare and provide input into and execute user documentation and training material. Lead system testing, as applicable.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least four (4) years prior experience in Custody, Trust, or Securities department.

Pay
Compensation ranges based on experience and location:
- US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York: $62,310 - $90,760
- US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin: $56,890 - $83,080
- US Employees in all other states not listed above: $51,480 - $75,410
