Installer/Sign Production Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Installer/Sign Production Specialist to join our team. This role involves both offsite sign installations and in-shop production of signage and print media.

Responsibilities

• Assess environments to determine installation needs and techniques
• Review job requirements and verify measurements before starting work
• Follow layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on predetermined substrates
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images using techniques appropriate for size, type, and complexity
• Operate and maintain printers
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by interpreting work orders and proofing for errors
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and mounting printed pieces

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods (4+ hours)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use repetitive hand motions for vinyl application
• Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work
• Experience using light power equipment
