Installer (HVAC)
Job Overview
RAIR, LLC is seeking a motivated Installer (HVAC) to join our growing team of residential HVAC professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately one year of experience—or a strong desire to learn the trade—to gain hands-on training while working alongside experienced Lead Installation Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Aid Lead Installation Technicians with the installation of residential HVAC systems
- Load, transport, and stage materials and equipment for each project
- Help remove and dispose of old HVAC systems safely and efficiently
- Support system start-ups and testing to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain job site cleanliness and uphold all safety standards
- Accurately complete required documentation, including installation checklists and time tracking
- Communicate professionally with homeowners when appropriate
- Learn to read and interpret basic project plans and installation specifications
- Identify and communicate potential issues to the Lead Technician
- Uphold RAIR’s standards of professionalism and customer service at all times
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of HVAC experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
- Strong interest in residential HVAC installation and long-term career growth
- Basic knowledge of HVAC tools and safety practices is a plus
- Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred

Schedule
Full-Time: Monday–Thursday with potential for overtime
Work Location
On-site at residential project locations throughout Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh, NC
Travel is local within the assigned service region
